Bring another Yogi
In my experience, doing the photoshoot with a friend or colleague helps relaxing quicker in front of the camera and it also reduces downtime, as one can change outfits or simply rest a bit while the other is shooting.
How it works
We discuss what you want in detail, either by email or, ideally, over a video call. The better I understand what precisely you're after, the easier it will be to capture you and your yoga practice.
I'm happy to shoot in a studio or in public and will advise on which locations work best for which purposes. I'm also happy to give feedback on poses and on the clothing best suited to different locations.
I work with natural light as much as possible and, if we shoot outdoors, I usually suggest the early morning or the late afternoon/early evening to make the most of the light. I do use additional artificial light where helpful.
I'm generally very flexible in terms of availability and always reserve plenty of extra time for our shoots, as I want to make sure we get the best results possible. The advertised shooting times should therefore be taken as rough guidelines only, and I advise all my clients to allow for some buffer in case we decide to shoot longer.
If the weather turns out to be unfavourable for an outdoor shoot, we'll reschedule for the earliest time that suits us both.
Edited images are delivered via private gallery within one to two weeks.
Travel within Greater London is included. Studio hire, props and assistants are billed at cost and always agreed beforehand. Images come licensed for your own promotion — studios, brands and anyone needing wider commercial usage, tell me what you have in mind and I'll quote for it.
Headshots
I also photograph headshots — either where you work, or as environmental portraits out in the city, which tend to look far less like a corporate ID photo and rather more like you. £200 for a 60–90 minute session, edited files within a week.
